FAQ

How much will I save on my energy bill?

Savings come from the AC running fewer cycles. When the attic above your ceiling cools dramatically, less heat soaks down into your bedrooms. Your thermostat hits its set point faster, so the compressor kicks off sooner.

In hot-summer states the typical drop is 15 to 25 percent of your summer cooling cost. On a $280 August bill in Texas, that is $42 to $70 back in your pocket that month. Across a May to October cooling season the math adds up fast.

The exact number depends on your insulation depth, AC age and efficiency, ceiling height, and local power rates. We will not promise a fixed dollar figure because we have not seen your attic. What we can promise is a noticeably cooler attic, and the bill follows from there.

Cooler shingles also last longer. That is a slower payback, but a real one. Roofs in hot attics fail faster than roofs in vented attics.
